Summary
You can use Plan and Trade services on both computer platforms and various mobile devices. Be aware that the content provided within Plan and Trade is not to be considered as investment advice, and any information shared in chat or during live commentary does not constitute specific buy or sell recommendations. It’s important not to blindly follow or mirror anyone’s actions. Duplicating, distributing, reproducing, sharing or scraping subscriber content either manually or programmatically from the chatroom or screen share is strictly forbidden. Engaging in such activities will result in a permanent ban and the possibility of legal consequences.
The Plan and Trade live stream and chat room operates every weekday starting in pre-market until the market close, or as long as the action persists. We are closed for all U.S. federal holidays, corresponding with the closure of the stock exchange. Please thoroughly read our disclaimer.
Real-time Screen Share / Live stream
Although the live chatroom is accessible once logged in, please be aware that live streaming our screen may not always be consistently available due to various factors. While we make every effort to share our screen whenever the chatroom is active, it’s possible that circumstances such as unavailability, technical issues, sick leave, scheduled time off, or unforeseen emergencies may prevent us from doing so. We appreciate your understanding in these situations.
At Plan and Trade, charts are our specialty and they are streamed live, or as close to it as technology allows. Naturally, there may be minor latency issues experienced by subscribers, particularly if your internet speed is slower. To minimize this, we utilize a 1GB fiber internet connection and employ industry leading software designed for major corporations. For the best experience, we recommend connecting to our service using a wired internet connection. In addition to charts, we also stream our stock scanners, browser, watch list and more.
Live Chatroom
While the Plan and Trade chatroom offers an engaging environment, it’s crucial to only share information and ideas directly related to the stock market. During pre-market and after hours, off-topic comments are acceptable, but they should be kept concise and infrequent when the market is active. Political comments are strictly prohibited. Any language or behavior you wouldn’t use in a workplace or with family members is not welcome here. We uphold a zero tolerance policy for profanity.
Refrain from utilizing our chatroom in a way that may be deemed unlawful. This encompasses any actions that contravene laws, rules, or regulations concerning securities as stipulated by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
Do not ask personalized investment questions specific to you. This rule is non-negotiable. Questions like “What stock should I buy?” or “When should I sell?” should be directed to a qualified investment advisor due to legal constraints, and Plan and Trade cannot provide such advice.
Professional conduct is expected at all times. Avoid promoting or bashing stocks, do not post fake news or misleading commentary and do not cause a disruption for fellow subscribers.
Resist the temptation to brag about your profits. We strive for a professional trading environment by steering clear of the allure of greed induced by profit stories. We strongly believe it’s not helpful to know about other traders profits, whether it’s verified or not. Instead, consider sharing accomplishments such as reaching your daily goal, indicating whether you’re in the green (or red), or mentioning the cents or points earned (or lost) from a trade. Repeatedly boasting about significant dollar profits may result in your removal from our service.
When discussing stocks, remember to capitalize ticker symbols (e.g., AAPL, TSLA).
Engaging in harassment, spamming, trolling, or making racist/sexist remarks may lead to a permanent ban.
External links are permissible as long as they direct to a government or regulatory website, or an official news press release from the company. Press releases that are paid by a third-party, such as stock promotion are not allowed.
Avoid exchanging or seeking personal information, such as phone numbers, social media profiles, or home addresses, with other subscribers. Similarly, avoid sharing your broker credentials or account numbers with anyone. This policy is in place to ensure your safety.
